RubbaStar abrasion-resistant gaskets are engineered from premium natural rubber specifically formulated for demanding industrial environments. They deliver outstanding abrasion resistance, exceptional tensile strength, and self-healing properties – making RubbaStar one of the toughest and most durable rubber materials available today.
Produced from 100% pure natural rubber, RubbaStar offers superior elasticity and strength when compared to synthetic alternatives. With a tensile strength of 24.0 MPa and an abrasion resistance rating of 80 mm³, these gaskets are built to endure heavy loads, constant friction, and repeated impact without tearing or degrading. RubbaStar remains flexible in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C, maintaining its performance even in sub-zero conditions. Its excellent water resistance also makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
While RubbaStar provides moderate resistance to chemicals such as ketones, aldehydes, and organic acids (both wet and dry), it is not recommended for use with petroleum-based products or hydrocarbons.
