Understanding Densities
HT-800 (Medium)
This medium-grade silicone sponge features excellent shape memory and low stress relaxation, making it ideal for gasket manufacturing. Its cell structure prevents air and water penetration and offers good UV, ozone, and temperature resistance.
HT-820 (Firm)
Offering higher tear resistance and superior tensile strength, this medium-firm grade provides excellent durability and sealing properties. It resists UV, ozone, and extreme temperatures, and its cell structure prevents fine particles and liquids from penetrating.
HT-840 (Extra Firm)
Ideal for press pads, this extra-firm grade offers superior conformability and even pressure distribution at high temperatures. Its cell structure prevents fine particles and water penetration, and it resists weathering, UV, and ozone damage.
BF-1000 (Extra Soft)
Utilising an open cell structure, this extra-soft grade compresses to protect against dust, moisture, and air penetration. It requires less force to seal enclosures and is perfect for outdoor applications and electronics protection. It also offers good resistance to weathering, UV, and ozone.
BF-2000 (Ultra Soft)
The ultra-soft grade offers high compressibility, allowing it to conform to awkward shapes and variable-width gaps. With excellent shape memory and low stress relaxation, it performs well over long periods. Its closed cell structure significantly reduces gas and liquid penetration, and it resists weathering, UV, and ozone damage.
