Nitrile rubber, also known as nitrile butadiene rubber, NBR, Buna-N, and acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, is a synthetic rubber derived from acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene. It is a highly versatile rubber that is used in a wide variety of industries including automotive, aerospace, marine and construction.
It has good resistance to oil, fuel and chemicals with a high tensile strength and good abrasion.
